Payment statements in the Provider portal
Independent providers and clinic administrators may use the Payment Statements (PRS) application to see the payment statements for select insurers, and then reconcile the services on these statements with their records. Currently, only select insurers are displayed in the Payment Statements application; the other insurers will continue to issue statements using their existing processes, including from their own portals or via email. Gradually, additional insurers will start to display the statements in the TELUS Provider portal. Note that those insurers who display the statements in the TELUS portal will not email you to notify you that a statement is available.
The timing of when statements are issued, and the information that they contain, vary depending on the insurer.
Most insurers send their payment statements via email. Other insurers will be offering them in the portal soon. Please refer to the Insurer-specific section of the FAQ for more information.
