We'd like to inform you that this insurer will become Beneva on January 1, 2023. Despite the new name and logo, there will be no change required on your part.
As of January 4th, 2023, Beneva insurance cards will begin circulating. Both Beneva by La Capitale, and La Capitale cards will remain in circulation, and claims for both can be submitted to Beneva through the TELUS Health eClaims service.
As of January 8th 2023, La Capitale/Beneva will appear as “Beneva” in the eClaims portal.
Claims are adjudicated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, excluding occasional maintenance periods.
Acknowledgements will be processed, and members sent a response, within five business days.
Yes, predetermination requests are accepted.
Beneva allows direct payment to the healthcare professional, but only for requests made online. Payments are processed twice a month.
Healthcare professionals are paid by cheque or direct deposit based on the information provided when registering with TELUS Health.
If your patient has both primary and secondary coverage with Beneva, we will respond electronically to the primary coverage only. Your patient must submit the secondary claim to Beneva manually via the Client Center or by mail.
