Managing users

The User Access & Permissions module of the Provider Portal allows organizations to create and manage their own user base. User administrators can add and update user profile information, set role permissions, and assign a user to a work location. These users include administrators, as well as providers (acupuncturists, chiropodists, chiropractors, dietitians, massage therapists [RMTs], naturopathic doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapy technologists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, psychologists, speech language pathologists, social workers, and vision care providers [opticians and optometrists]).

Users of the Provider Portal itself can be given roles or privileges that allow them, for example, to submit claims, configure payment information, or manage other users.
