Pending requests

The following types of changes are not immediately implemented in the Provider portal, but are submitted to the TELUS Health team for review and action:

  • New providers

  • Changes to provider details, including new roles

  • Links between organizations and head offices

  • New mailing addresses (WSIB services only)

  • Changes to service addresses

  • Changes to independent practice locations, excluding business hours and accessibility features

If there is a pending request for a specific component, a message is displayed to that effect on the applicable window. For example, the Providers tab shows the statuses of two types of requests:

  • Requests to add providers are shown at the top of the window.

  • Requests to modify a provider's details are shown within the provider card.
