Claim blocked by insurer
An insurer may block a claim if the insurer does not allow electronic claim submission for the specified provider, healthcare role, or license issuer, or policy group. In these cases, a message such as the following is displayed after you enter the patient or provider.
The first sentence may also read "<Insurer> does not currently allow electronic claim submission via eClaims for this healthcare role and/or license issuer." or "<Insurer> does not currently allow electronic claim submission via eClaims for this Policy/Group."
In these cases, you will need to cancel the claim and submit it manually.
